BEACON
OF HOPE $15.99
Beacon of Hope is a
product of imagination and an allegory of faith. A small boat, barely
visible on the horizon, rides heavy seas that surge and crash onto a rocky
coast; the lighthouse beacon is its sole guide. The keeper's house is a safe
haven against all storms ~ Thomas Kinkade
BLESSINGS
OF AUTUMN
The Blessings
of Autumn, begins my Blessings of the Seasons collection. Here is the
fullness of autumn—-the ripe orange plumpness of pumpkins, the Indian corn
wreath upon the door, the flaming reds and golds of the maples and the soft
blanket of fallen leaves. ~ Thomas Kinkade
BRIDGE
OF FAITH
For me, the
world is enriched by images of faith. In the Garden of Promise collection, I
look for those moments of revelation, of joyous acceptance, that comprise
our common spiritual experience. Then I look out into the world to find
visual images that reflect the truths of my walk with God. ~ Thomas Kinkade
FOREST CHAPEL
What's around
the next bend? What lies at the end of the trail? When I walk an unfamiliar
path, curiosity drives me on. The Forest Chapel portrays a daydream I've had
many times: often while hiking some wooded trail I've come upon a
spectacular flowering meadow and thought, "What a wonderful place to worship
God". The idea of a chapel in an unspoiled natural setting has intrigued me
for years. ~ Thomas Kinkade
FLAG
OVER CAPITOL
Flags
Over The Capital is my tribute to the American spirit. Nothing brings out
American pride more than a celebration with flags flying overhead and
banners strung from every window. This is a time when friends, families and
neighbors join together in a spectacular display of unity and patriotism. ~

SWEETHEART
COTTAGE II
For the second
work in my Sweetheart Cottages collection, I've conjured a vision of a
perfect romantic hideaway. "Falbrooke Thatch" is nestled right next to a
charming little waterfall, with an arched footbridge leading from the front
door over the falls. I've devoted "Falbrooke Thatch" to Valentine's Day
(note the 214 address just below the heart-shaped window) and to romance. In
fact, I've hidden hearts throughout the painting. The more hearts you can
find, the more romantic you are ~ Thomas Kinkade
POOLS
OF SERENITY
It may be that
all of us carry in our souls a memory of Eden, the glorious garden where we
came to know our Creator. That could account for the attraction I've long
felt for gardens—resplendent in riotous colors and tranquil in their shadowy
private spaces. Nanette and I take advantage of the romance of gardens to
enrich our love. We've sought out their sheltered nooks to meet and talk and
dream and remember. ~ Thomas Kinkade
SILENT
NIGHT
I was so taken
with the simple message of the classic Christmas carol, Silent Night, with
its images of sleeping villages and the coming of the Christ child, that I
decided to give the annual Christmas release the same title and evoke a bit
of the song's mood. I hope this image will remind each of us of the message
of hope and peace that is the true meaning of Christmas as illustrated in
the Savior's birth. ~ Thomas Kinkade
SUNRISE
As we approach the year
2000, I feel compelled as an artist to celebrate not the passing of the old
millennium but the beginning of the new millennium. To me the new millennium
represents a pivotal point in human-history-a chance to change the world for
the better. ~ Thomas Kinkade
VICTORIAN
CHRISTMAS II
I'm inviting
you to a Christmas party unlike any you've ever attended—because it takes
place a hundred years ago! In my paintings, I love turning back the clock to
a simpler era. That's what my Victorian Christmas II is all about; it brings
my favorite holiday and a glorious historical period alive on canvas. ~
Thomas Kinkade
VILLAGE
CHRISTMAS
Christmas is my
favorite time of year. The artist side of me is drawn to the lights and
visual elements of the season. In Village Christmas, I have tried to capture
a Christmas of a simpler time, where street lamps glow with the warm light
of a natural flame and the townsfolk use a leisurely stroll to church as the
opportunity to stop and chat about the joyous season. ~ Thomas Kinkade
A
CHRISTMAS WELCOME
Many elements
of an earlier and simpler time survived in my boyhood hometown. Rustic
scenes like A Christmas Welcome, where horses wait patiently at a split rail
fence while their riders enjoy holiday festivities in a rustic stone
cottage, are treasured memories. This painting is the seventh in my
decade-long Christmas Cottage collection. ~ Thomas Kinkade
QUIET
EVENING
ROCK
OF SALVATION
The lone lighthouse stands
proudly under a colorful sunset, warmly lit and ready to provide guidance
through the rocky coast and unsteady sea..
